The Swiss Camo Wet Weather Poncho is a heavy, ‘bulletproof’ and awesome.

Swiss Camo Wet Weather Poncho

This poncho has slide slits for your arms but this can be closed with the snaps that line the sides.

Made from waterproof rubberized nylon and is extremely strong.

Large hood with a draw string.

Also all of the seams are sealed.

It’s not light weight though and this probably won’t be going with you on any major hikes. It’s heavy and it comes in at 2lbs.

As you can see it is very large and this will cover you and your pack if you are wearing one.

The Swiss camo pattern is a bit weird if you ask me. I don’t mind it but it is what it is and for this price I’m not complaining. In the woods it will be just fine. On the streets of NY it might be a problem. Haha

Purchased on Amazon for an amazingly low price of $10!!!
The listing says that they are used but the quality of mine is excellent.

The link is in the description.

I have used this poncho for many years now and I like it a great deal. I’ve been in heavy rain and even snow with this bad boy and I’m glad that I have it. Normally I keep this in my truck tool box for those just in case situations. I also have another in the house.

Negs : Heavy. No sleeves. Interesting camo pattern.
Pros : Awesome price. Bullet proof. 100% waterproof.

Think of this; goretex is a breathable membrane and it does a great job of shedding water but it’s not 100% waterproof. This is.

For survival and bug out bags, this could easily be multipurpose. Collecting water, collecting wood, shelter, even floatation.

This is not breathable but there are many areas for body moisture to escape. In other words it retains heat and allows it to escape.
